Job summary

Flagstone Foods is seeking an Operator III for the 3rd shift in El Paso, TX. The role involves mixing and processing ingredients, operating production equipment, and ensuring product quality according to specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up machinery, monitoring temperatures, recording data, and communicating with the production team to meet daily goals. Requires basic math, a flexible schedule, and at least 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work OT/Holidays/Weekends.
• Must be able to convert from Metric to English for weights.
• Must have at least 6 months of manufacture operations experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend equipment that blends, mixes, and cooks ingredients during candy manufacturing.
• Arrange machine materials and ensure availability of production ingredients at the start and through procedures.
• Monitor gauges and thermometers to ensure temperatures are within range; inspect products for quality.
• Record production data and test results; complete end-of-shift reports.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Direct and train production associates in area operations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area; comply with SQF 2000 systems.
