Cancer Center of South Florida PLLC is seeking a Cancer Registrar I to ensure cancer data are abstracted completely and accurately in line with ACS and Florida standards. You will perform case finding, abstract eligible cases, and maintain lifetime follow-up, while supporting tumor conferences and accreditation activities.

The role requires an AA/AS degree and at least one year of registry experience, with proficiency in Epic and data-entry.

Formación

• Knowledge of cancer registry abstracting, case finding, patient follow-up, and data-entry procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable state, federal, and accrediting requirements (NCRA, FCDS, CoC, NAACCR).
• Ability to interpret diagnoses and analyze medical records.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, including Epic.

Responsabilidades

• Abstracts patient history, diagnosis, staging, treatment, and other required cancer data.
• Reviews edits, resolves errors, and maintains accuracy benchmarks.
• Meets productivity standards per Cancer Registry policies.
• Maintains case-finding accuracy and completes follow-up activities.
• Supports submissions to Florida Cancer Data System and data requests.
• Applies registry standards to assigned work and maintains manuals.
