Job summary

BayCare Health System in the Tampa Bay area seeks an Oncology Data Assistant to support case finding and abstracting in the Oncology Data Center-HSS. You will collaborate with Oncology Data Specialists, prepare materials for conferences, and ensure clinical documents are ready for review.

You will handle follow-up of cancer patients, assist with conference agendas, and perform other duties as assigned. The role is full-time, hybrid, based at Morton Plant, with days shift and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: 2 years general medical or healthcare experience with a HS GED or equivalent.
• Oncology Data Specialist Certification may replace experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and collaborate with the Oncology Data Specialists in case finding and abstracting of cancer cases.
• Assist with conferences, prepare agenda for conference and ensure clinical materials are available.
• Follow-up of all cancer patients in the Oncology Data Center.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
