LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans’ Louisiana Tumor Registry is seeking a Research Associate 2 to analyze cancer data, assist with statistics for publications, and support data release operations under the Program Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Biostatistics/Epidemiology or health-related field with at least 2 years in a research setting; a Master’s can substitute for two years of experience. Strong data handling and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology or health-related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant research environment experience.
• Master’s Degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cancer data to support data requests and cancer control initiatives.
• Assist with preparation of statistics for annual publications (monograph, data visualization, cancer one-pagers).
• Support the program manager with administrative tasks related to data release.
