Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage non-therapeutic study protocols under the guidance of the principal investigator. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and coordinate data collection, site communications, and participant scheduling.

The role involves screen/enroll participants, assist with protocol development and IRB submissions, and perform administrative duties to support study operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma with at least 3 years of experience or higher education options with related experience.
• Experience in clinical settings or related experience.
• Certification or coursework in clinical research preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates non-therapeutic (i.e. minimal risk, survey, chart review) clinical research protocols under direction from the PI and/or supervisor in compliance with laws and guidelines.
• Screens, enrolls, and recruits research participants.
• Coordinates schedules and monitors research activities and subject participation.
• Participates in protocol development, IRB submissions, and related documentation; may involve site communication and data verification.

Education

HS Diploma with at least 3 years of experience

Associate's degree/college Diploma/Certificate Program with at least 1 year of experience

Associate’s in Clinical Research from an accredited academic institution without experience

Bachelor's degree

Graduate or diploma from a study coordinator training program is preferred

One year of clinical research experience is preferred

Medical terminology course is preferred
