Territory Sales Manager

$80,000 + commission
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Contacts and secures new business accounts/customers. Successful Garland salespeople have a broad background in selling and a professional approach to marketing, including selling technical Garland roofing systems against tough competition and addressing customer perceptions.
Must possess sales experience and cooperative contract development/management. High school diploma required and post‑secondary degree preferred. Must successfully pass all required background screenings and obtain requisite security clearance(s). Demonstrated aptitude for problem‑solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). Must be results‑oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software. Must have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally; ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driving license is required. Overnight domestic and international travel required.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues. Ability to attend client locations regularly. Ability to use office equipment. Ability to walk, sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to read at, above, and below shoulder height. Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch and use ladders/extension ladders, adhering to fall protection requirements. Ability to work in inclement weather and handle typical industrial chemicals and solvents with PPE. Ability to travel domestically and internationally by various means and work evenings, weekends, and overnight travel as required.
