Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage Canada payrolls for resort and corporate employees. You will work with HRIS, benefits, and third parties to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and reporting.

The role requires detailed knowledge of Canadian payroll, garnishments, and year-end tax processes, with experience in Workday Time Tracking and ADP Taxes. This hybrid role is based in Denver, CO, with collaboration across North American teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in multi-provincial payroll with taxes and garnishments
  • Canada payroll processing experience required; USA experience preferred
  • ROE expertise and experience
  • Experience with bi-weekly, hourly and salaried payrolls

Responsibilities

  • Provide high level payroll service and support to Alterra Mountain Company employees
  • Prepare employee records for payroll processing in Workday Time Tracking, Workday and ADP Taxes
  • Enter and verify all deduction amounts; process payroll reports for accuracy
  • Assist with year-end tax reporting and ROE completion
  • Establish and maintain collaborations with HR, IT, and benefits teams
