Job summary

Christ Community Church in Joliet, IL, is seeking a full-time worship pastor to design and lead weekly worship experiences across campuses. You will collaborate with the Creative Arts Team to shape services and shepherd volunteers on your campus.

Are you a gifted vocalist who also excels at leading a band of talented volunteer musicians and running a rehearsal?

As part of the one-church Creative Arts Team, this person will enjoy the collaborative creative process of designing weekly worship services for our campuses. After the planning process is complete, they take that collaborative plan back to their campus, where they serve as the worship leader and shepherd of an amazing team of volunteers serving alongside them in the campus creative arts ministry. This individual must be gifted with excellent musical and technical skills, as they will be instrumental in preparing the hearts of the people to worship each week. Through heartfelt worship, they will also help prepare hearts to receive the teaching of God’s Word. Our ideal candidate for this full-time pastoral position will be proficient in leading worship, playing an instrument, leading the band, running rehearsals, and directing the campus platform team from rehearsal through the weekend worship services.
