Job summary

Sodexo Group at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Campus Wellness Intern. This part-time, on-site role offers hands-on learning across food service, facilities management, and event support.

It features varying shifts with open availability and participation in Sodexo's internship program when available. Ideal candidates are pursuing a college degree with an interest in hospitality, food service, facility or event management.

Qualifications

• No prior work experience required for internship.
• Interest in hospitality, food service, facility or event management.
• Currently enrolled in a college degree program.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations by assisting frontline teams in food service, maintenance, cleaning, equipment use, cooking, serving, and other functions across various facilities.
• Learn and follow department guidelines, operating procedures, and safety standards, providing feedback as needed.
• Perform day-to-day assignments, special projects, and other duties as assigned, including event preparation, setup, and service support.
• Assist with inventory, data entry, filing, reporting, and updating documentation as needed.
• May be part of a formal Sodexo internship program.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, throughout the entire duration of a shift, which may exceed 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
