Job summary

Oakland University’s Rec Well invites a Fall 2026-Winter 2027 Influencer to educate and raise awareness about Rec Well and Healthy Campus across campus using personal social media. You will collaborate with other Influencers to promote the mission and engage the OU community in engaging ways.

You will contribute to TikTok/IG Reel content under the Marketing Graduate Assistant and stay current with trends, helping expand health resources awareness while upholding teamwork and inclusion values.

Qualifications

• Must have personal Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts with OU student followers.
• Must align with Rec Well T.R.I.I.P.S. values (Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Inclusion, Positivity, Service).
• Flexible schedule due to nature of work.
• Technologically adept and up-to-date with social media trends.
• Owns ability to work independently and with others.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaborative with team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Use personal social media pages to inform the OU community about Rec Well programs/services and Healthy Campus initiatives.
• Contribute to creation of Rec Well TikToks/IG Reels under Marketing GA direction.
• Grow awareness and engagement of health resources for students, staff, and faculty.
• Assist with targeted outreach to ensure representation of groups in digital space.
• Attend Rec Well/Healthy Campus events to educate and promote programs and services.
