Job summary

Georgia Southern University is seeking a Sustainability and Leadership Coordinator to assist with the development, planning, communication, implementation, and assessment of sustainability programming across Statesboro and Armstrong campuses.

You will work with the Office Leadership and Community Engagement to oversee existing programs and develop new initiatives, advancing sustainability education and community engagement through coordinated programming and evaluation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
One year or more of related work experience.
Master's Degree preferred.
Experience with development and assessment of sustainability programs.
Experience in program management and efficiencies.
Teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee Sustain Southern Program and related initiatives.
Coordinate sustainability educational programming for students, staff, faculty, and community.
Create and maintain events, budgets, timelines, and checklists.
Direct marketing and communication for sustainability programming.
Coordinate assessment of programming to align with university goals.
Teach leadership courses and workshops as needed.
Supervise at least one Graduate Assistant and undergraduate students.
Represent the office at recruitment events and open houses.
