Job summary

InterVarsity Press is seeking a Campus Staff Minister I for the Central Texas area (Undergraduate Ministry). This part-time role supports campuses including UT Austin, Concordia University, and Austin Community College, coordinating spiritual growth and campus leadership initiatives.

The position emphasizes building witnessing communities, leading students and faculty in Scriptural engagement, prayer, and ministry planning, while partnering with area staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
• Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Pursue spiritual growth and cultivate a vibrant relationship with God through Scripture, prayer and worship.
• Lead and develop campus ministry teams to implement InterVarsity’s vision on campus.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers across local, area, and national levels.
• Raise 100% of the financial budget assigned by your supervisor, and develop ministry partnerships.
