Job summary

High Point University is seeking a candidate for a role that includes providing safe and timely transportation service on campus. This position requires a high school diploma, a valid NC driver's license, and a willingness to acquire a CDL within 60 days.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain cordial relationships with students and staff. There are no previous experience requirements, but backgrounds in driving or customer service are desired.

Qualifications

• Must have, or be willing/able to acquire NC CDL driver's license within 60 days of hire date.
• Candidates with backgrounds in driving and/or customer service are desired.
• Must have valid NC driver's license.
• No serious driving convictions within the past three years.
• Must pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provides and maintains an effective working relationship with students and staff.
• Exercises sound judgment and makes thoughtful decisions.
• Provides safe and timely transportation service.
• Becomes familiar with event and building locations on campus.
