Job summary

Compass Group USA at University of Virginia is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor to direct associates on a shift, train staff, and ensure quality, safety, and policy adherence. Compensation is $16–$17 per hour with Sundays off, free meals, and gym access.

Prior Chick-fil-A or similar experience preferred. The role requires flexibility in days/hours and includes opportunities for growth and mentoring within Chartwells Higher Ed.

Qualifications

• Prior professional experience in a Chick-fil-A restaurant or similar establishment.
• Ability to train staff and create work schedules.
• Full-time availability with flexible days/hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure policies are followed.
• Provide training and create work schedules for the team.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers, and address underperformance.
• Prepare reports on production/sales, quality, safety, and productivity.
• Serve as the point of contact for employee requests and time-off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement.
