Express Employment Professionals is assisting a local university in Morgantown, WV by recruiting an overnight University Housekeeper. This full-time role offers a steady Sunday–Thursday schedule with a 10:00 PM–6:00 AM shift and a pay rate of $14.00 per hour.

You will support campus housing operations, ensuring clean and welcoming dorms, apartments, and common areas. Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work an overnight / 3rd shift schedule.
• Able to work independently and as part of a housekeeping team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or facilities experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dorm rooms, apartments, townhouses, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout campus housing.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
• Empty trash containers and properly dispose of waste.
• Replenish cleaning, restroom, and facility supplies as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping areas.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products as directed.
• Follow workplace safety and sanitation procedures.
• Report maintenance, repair, or facility concerns to the appropriate team.
• Work independently and with other housekeeping team members to complete daily cleaning assignments.
