Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Evansville, IN to safeguard university campuses and support a technology-focused environment. The role involves unarmed patrols, exceptional customer service, and clear incident reporting while maintaining a visible campus presence.

You'll work weekends (Sat/Sun) with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, joining a dynamic, service-oriented team that emphasizes integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by conducting security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify campus personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, technology and media facilities, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and campus activity, verify authorized entry where required, and report suspicious persons or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports with professional communication.
