Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be comfortable working outdoors and during inclement weather.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and per campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, residences, parking facilities, and grounds to identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for campus facilities and events.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate information to campus personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
