Job description

About the role

We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account that spans across 30+ countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organization, and we pride ourselves in delivering best-in-class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Operations Support, Business Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you’ll work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will lead and manage physical security operations across multiple critical infrastructure facilities, ensuring a safe, consistent, and effective security program. You will actively manage and develop site security personnel by partnering with local branch leadership to support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management, while ensuring all team members are treated with dignity and respect. You will drive safety as a core operational priority, implementing safety programs and initiatives with the goal of zero workplace injuries.

You will plan, assign, and oversee physical security projects and daily operational tasks, evaluating the effectiveness of site security programs and recommending improvements where needed. You will set the standard for strong customer service and professional communication, holding site teams accountable to the same expectations. In partnership with the Regional Security Manager, you will monitor site health and key performance indicators, support unannounced audits, and strengthen overall team performance.

Additionally, you will engage regularly with clients and Securitas leadership through account reviews, security planning, assessments, and ongoing communication, ensuring leadership is informed of key accomplishments, risks, and concerns. You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and split time across assigned sites to maintain operational awareness, lead teams effectively, and continuously develop and enhance the physical security program.

What you need to apply

To apply for this role, you should have at least four years of experience in the security industry, including four years in a management role, along with an associate degree in Security Management, Business Management, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, and experience working in a datacenter environment is a plus. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of security technologies such as CCTV, access control systems, incident management platforms, and video surveillance software, as well as a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Business Management, or a related discipline. Professional security certifications such as CPP or PSP are also preferred.

This position involves travel (approximately 10% of the time), so a passion for travel (and a valid passport) is essential. This role may also have to work nights and weekends to support high priority events and off-hours incidents. All applicants to this role must have reliable means of communication, reliable means of transportation (public or private) to get to/from work, the legal right to work in the country where the position is located, and the ability to speak, read and write in English proficiently.

What you’ll get

We offer more than just a job; we offer the chance to be part of a collaborative and supportive team where your contributions are valued and your growth matters. In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic environment while supporting a prestigious multinational client account. You will gain exposure to global operations and cross-regional collaboration, and you will have access to continuous learning, training programs, and career development opportunities designed to help you succeed.

The extra stuff

This position requires—with or without reasonable accommodation—the physical and mental ability to perform all essential job functions effectively. This includes maintaining composure under pressure while interacting with clients, authorities, executives, and staff; working independently without direct supervision; and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The role involves regular use of a computer and a keyboard. Visual acuity for both near and far distances, as well as the ability to adjust focus, is required. The position may involve handling sensitive or confidential information and requires flexibility in scheduling to meet operational demands.
