Barnard College is seeking a Security Supervisor for the CARES Department to oversee safety and security operations during shifts, supervising Community Safety Officers, Access Attendants and Dispatchers. This role emphasizes leadership, patrols, access control, and incident reporting to protect people and property on campus.

Applicants should have 5+ years in security with 3 in supervision, an Associate’s degree, and a NYS driver’s license, with readiness for irregular hours and campus travel.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree required.
• 5+ years in security with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Valid NYS driver’s license held.
• Current or willing to obtain 180 training hours.
• Resident of the City of New York.
• DD214 if military service applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee CARES department safety and security during assigned shift.
• Supervise Community Safety Officers, Access Attendants and Dispatchers.
• Conduct foot/vehicle patrols and monitor access points.
• Deter and report safety risks and incidents; coordinate with law enforcement.
• Maintain incident reporting and documentation; ensure readiness.
• Provide coaching, training, and discipline as needed.
• Use Lenel for access control and incident reporting; liaise with partners.
