Job summary

Broken Arrow Public Schools is seeking a Student/Visitor Security Attendant for the Senior High School to help maintain a safe and orderly campus. You will monitor entry points, verify IDs, direct visitors to the main office, and support staff and security with ID requirements while coordinating with campus police as needed.

This on-site, 177-day contract runs from school days; the role requires attentiveness, good communication, and the ability to respond calmly to emergencies, with hours 7:30

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• None required experience.
• Strong observation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry points and verify IDs.
• Check-in visitors via district system and direct them as needed.
• Assist staff and security regarding ID requirements.
• Monitor cameras at entry points.
• Maintain presence at post 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Coordinate with security officers and administrators as needed.
