Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Basic Law Enforcement Certification required.
• Current Certification through NC Department of Justice required.
• Ability to prepare investigations reports and maintain records.
• Strong oral and written instruction skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all laws and campus regulations to keep students, staff, and visitors safe.
• Patrol campus buildings, grounds and adjacent areas by foot or vehicle.
• Utilize video surveillance in investigations.
• Secure buildings by locking/unlocking doors.
• Investigate incidents and handle related paperwork.
• Provide emergency assistance and first aid as needed.
• Enforce campus traffic and parking rules.
• Write and submit incident reports to law enforcement as appropriate.
