Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in the security or education industry.
• Valid Texas Class C driver license and insurability to operate District vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Patrol school property to secure campuses.
• Monitor security/fire alarm and CCTV systems.
• Provide a regular presence through the Campus Security Initiative.
• Report criminal activity and unusual incidents.

Skills

Ability to de-escalate altercations

Ability to work under pressure in crisis situations

Ability to utilize two-way radios

Education

High school diploma

First Aid, CPR and AED Certification

Level II Security Certificate (preferred)
