Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.
• Certification as a Peace Officer from the Illinois Police Training and Standards Board required.
• Two years experience as a sworn law enforcement official preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand the criminal code.
• Must be bondable and able to write clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintains order on College property and at College functions.
• Conducts patrols to prevent crimes and hazards and reports issues.
• Identify risks related to crimes and suspicious activity on campus.
• Enforces traffic and parking regulations and directs traffic.
• Responds to emergencies and fire calls and coordinates with authorities.
• Provides assistance to College community and protects lives and property.
