Qualifications

• Two years of work experience in law enforcement, military, or security.
• Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Must hold a valid Concealed Pistol License and a valid driver's license.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR/AED required.
• Officer must carry a firearm as a condition of employment and provide a quality holster with level II retention.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in vehicles and monitor buildings and grounds.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce campus rules.
• Provide escorts and assistance (e.g., lockouts, jump-starts) and report safety hazards.
• Investigate incidents and secure facilities; collaborate with law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor parking areas and serve as a Campus Security Authority under the Clery Act.
