Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 21 years old.
• One year of full-time security, military or related experience.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license within 30 days of appointment.
• First aid, CPR and AED certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days; LEDS certification within 90 days.
• Computer proficiency and respectful interaction with diverse individuals.
• Successful completion of comprehensive screening including background checks and medical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus grounds by vehicle, bicycle, and on foot; report hazards or suspicious activity.
• Respond to medical emergencies and other incidents, provide initial assistance and coordinate with emergency services.
• Support campus events with traffic control, crowd management and security screening.
• Provide walking safety escorts, building unlocks and practical assistance to students, employees and visitors.
• Write incident reports and shift logs, support access-control systems, and help with campus safety education.
