Job summary

A liberal arts college in Wichita is seeking a Campus Safety Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and manage safety protocols. The role requires two years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Responsibilities include monitoring campus systems, handling inquiries, and responding to emergencies. This position is part-time with various shifts and offers a pay rate of $25.00/hour, but is not benefit eligible.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of campus safety protocols and regulations.
• Two years of experience in campus safety or law enforcement.
• DPSST certification for unarmed private security.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with community members.
• Handle inquiries about parking and Campus Safety policies.
• Monitor campus systems and alarms for effective response.
