Job summary

Geneva College is seeking a Residence Director to oversee the Christian learning community in the residence halls. This full-time, live-in role leads Residence Life, mentors building teams, and coordinates housing responsibilities across campus.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in higher education, counseling or related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years in higher education or counseling.
• Christian commitment and communication with students.
• Ability to mentor staff and lead a residence life program.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of conduct hearings and RA training.
• Develop and supervise Residence Life programming and assessments.
• Oversee housing operations, room sign-ups, keys/ID management.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and security of the residence hall.
• Lead staff orientations, training, and weekly meetings.
• Respond to crises and provide student support and follow-up.
• Coordinate with Health Services, Counseling Center, and facilities.
