Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College's Western Campus seeks a Student Worker to assist with operations and maintenance of the Recreation Center and Varsity Athletics. You will help with set up and tear down of classes and events, manage equipment, and support daily activities on campus.

You must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours each semester, maintain satisfactory academic progress, and pass a background/drug screening.

Qualifications

• Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
• Pass background/drug screening.
• Answer phone and take messages.
• Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing.
• Open and sort mail.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technology.
• Assist with special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operations and maintenance of the Recreation Center and Varsity Athletics.
• Set up and tear down of physical education classes, recreation classes, fitness equipment, and athletic equipment both indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to lift and move items between 50-100 lbs.
