Job summary

Salt Lake Community College seeks a Rec Desk Attendant to support campus recreation activities with a focus on service quality and safety.

You will uphold SOPs, assist students and staff, and contribute to scheduling and events while completing mandatory trainings such as CPR and First-Aid. Flexibility in schedule and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required. Utah residency rules apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (oral and written) required.
• Customer service oriented with problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Attend mandatory staff trainings incl. CPR/First-Aid.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends.
• Must report to work on time and adapt to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Enforce standard operating procedures at the recreation desk.
• Provide excellent customer service to students and staff.
• Resolve inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with scheduling and events at the recreation facilities.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to incidents.
• Complete required staff trainings including CPR/First-Aid.
