Job summary

Saint Xavier University’s WXAV 88.3FM seeks a Program Director to develop and implement station programming, oversee on-air staff, and ensure quality broadcast output in alignment with FCC rules.

You will lead scheduling, manage promotional events, train producers to meet broadcast standards, and collaborate with the General Manager and the Student Media Leadership Committee to uphold the station's mission.

Qualifications

• Must be a student at Saint Xavier University.
• Must be Federal Work Study Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the on-air broadcast schedule and helps decides station strategy.
• Leads and manages WXAV with General Manager support.
• Plans and executes promotional events with the management team.
• Supervises training of all new WXAV producers to meet broadcast standards.
• Maintains the on-air image and records sweepers, promos, and PSAs.
• Member of the Student Media Leadership Committee.
