Job summary

Dow invites applicants for Intern Undergraduate and Masters Scientists and Engineers in Research and Development (R&D). The program spans across North America, with opportunities in the U.S. to support one or two projects and partner with research scientists.

You will work with collaborative project teams to solve chemical- and material-related problems through both fundamental and applied research, delivering impact across product and process development.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline.
Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Support one or two R&D projects and collaborate with research scientists to advance projects to completion.
Work with cross-functional teams to address chemical- and material-related challenges through both fundamental and applied research.
Contribute to product research, process research, and application development initiatives.
