Job summary

KRE Security is seeking a Campus Security Officer to support university public safety on a Reading, PA campus. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, enforce campus policies, and assist with emergencies while maintaining a professional presence.

The role offers flexibility with full-time and part-time shifts, weekend work, and mandatory background screenings. Candidates should have a valid driver's license, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic campus

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required for vehicle patrols.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write clear, timely incident reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a public safety team.
• Background screening and training will be completed prior to placement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of campus buildings and grounds.
• Perform vehicle patrols and transports as directed.
• Maintain visible security presence and monitor areas for safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies within scope of assignment.
• Monitor access points and assist with campus operations.
• Complete accurate incident reports and logs.
