Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin’s Healthyhorns - University Health Services is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide primary medical care to UT Austin students at the UT Main Campus. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week in a collaborative clinic, with benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Applicants should hold PA or NP credentials with primary care experience and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• PA track requires master's degree and valid TX license.
• PA must have NCCPA certification and ARC-PA accredited program.
• Four years of primary care experience for PA.
• Nurse Practitioner track requires MSN and TX APRN licensure.
• Experience with EMR systems for patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary medical healthcare services to UT Austin students as a UHS General Medicine Provider.
• Participates in committees, policy revisions, and peer review.
• Engages in organizational goals, upholds policies, demonstrates professionalism and customer service.
• Other related functions as assigned.
