Job summary

City College of San Francisco seeks an Institutional Police Officer to supervise security staff and administer campus safety programs. You will enforce laws, coordinate with SF Police and college personnel, and manage daily security operations on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience as police officer or related safety role.
• Valid California driver license and POST Basic Certificate.
• Substitution: associate degree in Criminal Justice may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Acts as emergency operations manager in the absence of Institutional Police leadership.
• Administers first aid to students, staff and visitors.
• Arrests individuals engaged in illegal activities on campus.
• Collaborates with community agencies to address investigations and safety.
• Patrols college facilities to deter crime and ensure safety.
• Presents information on campus security guidelines and enforcement procedures.
