Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
• Must be a Certified Police Officer through Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB).
• Be 21 years of age or older and a U.S. citizen.
• Possess a valid Illinois driver?s license.

Responsibilities

• Proactively patrol assigned areas to preserve order and enforce traffic regulations.
• Investigate disturbances to determine appropriate action.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid/CPR/AED as necessary.
• Prepare written incident reports for assigned shift.
