Southeast Oklahoma State University seeks a campus police officer to patrol the university environment, enforce laws and university regulations, and protect life and property. You will investigate incidents, prepare reports, and testify when required, while maintaining safety during emergencies and university events.
Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, with CLEET certification within six months and knowledge of Oklahoma statutes.
Employees of this classification are responsible for patrol and other related police functions, as well as safety and security functions. Work is performed in accordance with established SE Policies and Procedures, SE Department of Campus Police and Safety Policies and Procedures and directions received orally and/or in writing from the McCurtain County Campus police/safety officer, campus director, or other designated authority who reviews the work through observation and a review of the work results.
