Campus Pastor – Norton Campus

The Campus Pastor will lead the relaunch of Crossroads Community Church’s Norton Campus as it begins a new chapter in a new location. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated, visionary leader to step into a strategic rebuilding season and help shape the future of ministry in the Norton community.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, a pastor’s heart, and a passion for building healthy ministry environments in a team focused setting. This leader will provide spiritual, pastoral, and operational leadership by developing teams, cultivating momentum, and executing the mission of Crossroads so that people can Know Jesus, Grow in Faith, and Go Do Great Things.

Key Responsibilities

Spiritual Leadership

• Serve as the primary shepherd and spiritual leader for the Norton Campus.
• Provide biblical guidance, pastoral care, counseling, and discipleship to individuals and families.
• Officiate weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other pastoral functions as needed.
• Help foster a culture of spiritual growth, biblical literacy, prayer, and disciple‑making.

Weekend Experience & Teaching

• Oversee the execution and effectiveness of Sunday morning gatherings.
• Preach live and facilitate teaching content in collaboration with the Teaching Team.
• Ensure campus gatherings are welcoming, engaging, and missionally effective.

Leadership Development

• Recruit, develop, equip, and lead volunteer leaders and ministry teams.
• Identify and raise up emerging leaders within the Norton Campus.
• Build healthy ministry systems that support sustainable growth and care.

Staff Leadership & Team Collaboration

• Lead and manage campus staff and key ministry leaders.
• Collaborate with central staff and other campus leaders to implement church‑wide vision, initiatives, and ministry strategies.
• Champion alignment with Crossroads’ beliefs, culture, systems, and ministry philosophy.

Vision & Campus Growth

• Execute the vision and mission of Crossroads Community Church within the Norton community.
• Develop strategies to reach new people, assimilate attenders, and deepen engagement.
• Monitor campus health through leadership development, volunteer engagement, attendance trends, and spiritual growth indicators.

Multi‑Campus Participation

• Contribute to multi‑campus events, ministry initiatives, outreach opportunities, and pastoral responsibilities as needed (e.g., VBS, GoServe, special events, pastoral visits).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Christian Ministry, Theology, or related field preferred.
• Meets the biblical qualifications for an elder/pastor as outlined in Scripture.
• Minimum 5 years of full‑time ministry leadership experience preferred.
• Strong biblical teaching and communication skills.
• Proven experience leading teams, developing leaders, and building volunteer culture.
• Demonstrated pastoral heart with strong relational and shepherding skills.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Full alignment with the beliefs, mission, vision, and values of Crossroads Community Church.
