Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Campus Outreach Intern for Minnesota, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Hybrid schedule and travel to campuses are required. Pay is $17 per hour with 5–10 hours weekly, not to exceed 30 hours per month. Internship runs Fall 2026 to May 2027.

Under supervision, you will recruit volunteers, educate about PP services, plan outreach activities, and support youth programming across the region. Must pass background check and support PP's mission.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn about sexual and reproductive health topics.
• Interest in engaging in social justice activism, including racial justice, reproductive justice, and queer justice.
• Able to communicate effectively with college students.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Supports Planned Parenthood's mission.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Minnesota Organizing Manager and Senior Youth Organizing Associate regularly to plan youth outreach events and needs of youth groups.
• Assist in administrative tasks supporting youth programming, such as database entry and outreach.
• Help campuses organize youth Get Out the Vote efforts (phone banking, canvassing, etc).
• Assist in campus-based promotion of local Planned Parenthood health centers.
• Coordinate advocacy and outreach campaigns for youth.
• Network with local college campus groups supporting Planned Parenthood.
• Attend and assist with special events.
• Other duties as assigned.
