The Crossing, a multi-site church serving the St. Louis area, seeks a part-time Campus Operations Associate for the Chesterfield campus.

This role provides on-site operations support for weekend services, weeknight classes and events, with flexible hours to fit around other commitments. You will help keep ministry spaces clean, perform opening/closing routines, and respond to basic facility needs while supporting staff using radios and campus apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site campus operations support for services, classes and events.
• Prepare and reset ministry spaces; ensure areas and restrooms are clean and ready.
• Complete opening, closing and routine building-readiness procedures.
• Respond to basic facility needs, including light cleaning and minor maintenance.
• Support staff and ministry teams during shifts; communicate concerns to management.
• Use radios/headsets, scheduling and mobile apps, digital checklists, access-control systems and campus technology.

Our church... is a non-denominational multi-site church with four St. Louis-area campuses where we gather each weekend to study this ancient story found in Scripture that is still transforming lives today. We blend teaching and worship with art and technology to create a service where you can experience the message of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways.

Campus Operations Associate...This part-time position helps keep our Chesterfield campus safe, clean, functional and ready for ministry. The role provides on-site campus operations support for weekend services, weeknight classes and events. The hours are varied, and, in most instances, we can work around your full-time job and other commitments. Retired, in school, or just looking for flexible part-time work? GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing on-site campus operations support for services, classes and events. Typical shifts are available are
  • Saturday 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Sunday 7:30 am to 1:00 pm
  • Weeknights 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Other days and times as needed
• Prepare and reset ministry spaces and help ensure common areas and restrooms are clean, safe and ready for scheduled use.
• Complete building opening, closing and routine building-readiness procedures.
• Respond to basic facility needs, including light cleaning and minor maintenance tasks within your training and ability.
• Support staff and ministry teams during assigned shifts and communicate maintenance, safety, security or building concerns to management.
• Use radios/headsets, scheduling and mobile apps, digital checklists, access-control systems and other campus technology.

• A dependable, self-motivated person who takes initiative and follows through.
• Someone comfortable with active, hands-on work, changing priorities and basic problem-solving.
• Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new apps, systems and building tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous facilities, operations, event support or service-oriented experience is helpful, but not required. Skilled-trade experience is not required; training is provided.
