Job summary

Davidson College seeks a proactive Moves/Special Events Supervisor to lead a hands-on team responsible for campus moves, event setups, and special logistics operations. You will ensure safe, timely transport and installation of furniture and equipment while delivering excellent customer service.

You will coordinate with faculty, staff, vendors, and departments, manage daily schedules and resources, and support both routine operations and high-profile campus events with OSHA-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some College is preferred.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in facilities, logistics, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Moves/Special Events crew and manage daily tasks.
• Coordinate moves, event setups, and logistics across campus.
• Track hours, schedules, and safety protocols (OSHA).
• Maintain records of equipment, setups, and staffing.
• Communicate with departments and vendors for smooth operations.
