Job summary

NVR Mortgage is offering a Summer Internship to provide hands-on experience in all aspects of the mortgage process for our Ryan Homes, NVHomes or Heartland Homes customers. You will work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify borrowers and negotiate financing options while learning about the regulatory process governing the mortgage industry.

You will gain practical experience in processing, underwriting, customer communication and negotiation, and you will be compensated for it.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program and expected to graduate within 12 months.
• Highly driven with leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Open to students from all majors.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate competitive financing options.
• Guide customers from initial application to their settlement date in a highly competitive marketplace.
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting mortgage closings.
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports.
• Spend time with sales and production teams to experience the collaboration needed to deliver a customer's dream home.

The NVR Mortgage Summer Internship program will provide you with hands on experience in all aspects of the mortgage process for our Ryan Homes, NVHomesor Heartland Homes homebuilding customers. You'll receive practical experience in processing, closing, underwriting, customer communication and negotiation while learning about the regulatory process that governs the mortgage industry. You will gain valuable experience, embrace key responsibilities, and be compensated for it. And it's interesting to note that many of our past summer interns are now full-time employees!

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in college degree program (scheduled to graduate within 12 months of the internship is preferred)
• Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience
• Strong communication skills
• Current Driver's License
