Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA in South Carolina seeks a Campus Staff Minister to lead gospel-centered ministry on a college campus. You will nurture spiritual growth, develop campus communities, and expand InterVarsity’s witness among students and faculty.

The role emphasizes leadership development, collaboration with churches and volunteers, and fundraising to sustain ministry efforts. A bachelor’s degree and strong relational skills are required, with a competitive benefits package

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue spiritual growth through Scripture, prayer, and worship, both individually and in community.
  • Increase campus witnessing communities and lead on vision, strategy, and accountability.
  • Build leadership teams and develop ministry plans, programs, and structures.
  • Raise funds and partner with alumni, churches and volunteers to resource the ministry.
