Job summary

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking a part-time intern to learn the basics of college campus ministry at a Wisconsin campus. The role focuses on student learning and campus engagement for budding ministry leaders.

You will work with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision, promote the mission, and develop leadership, Scripture study, and relational skills while engaging with fundraising tasks to support salary costs.

Qualifications

• Must be a follower of Jesus Christ.
• Annual affirmation of InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement.
• Develops campus ministry leadership and demonstrates cross-cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Participate with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
• Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Promote the Mission on campus and expand witness to diverse communities.
• Engage with supervision and training from staff ministry trainer or director.
• Assist with reporting as assigned.
• Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches.
