Job description

Location: Wooster, OH — on campus, with remote work and team meetings

Eligibility: Current undergraduate at The College of Wooster

Compensation: Paid, performance-based internship. Earnings depend on results; there is no fixed salary.

About Wayd

While other apps keep you glued to your screen, we're building something that gets you out there, meeting friends face-to-face. We're the app you wish you had when you first stepped onto campus.

Our investors also backed Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, and GroupMe. Imagine being part of the team when those apps were just getting started. At Wayd, you can experience those early days yourself: launching a new social app, getting your campus on board, and building something people use with their friends.

The Opportunity

As a Campus Marketing Intern, your job is to make sure every student at your campus knows about Wayd. You'll work directly with our CEO, make deals with student groups, and run the launch at your school.

This isn't your average internship—you'll have real responsibility and the chance to make a massive impact.

You know your campus better than we do. We want your ideas about who to reach, what to organize, and what would get students excited about Wayd.

What You'll Do
  • Plan and execute our campus marketing strategy.
  • Make deals with fraternities, sororities, student organizations, and clubs.
  • Connect us with chapter presidents, social chairs, and other students who bring people together.
  • Organize events and campus promotions that get people using Wayd with their friends.
  • Find out what's working, share student feedback, and try new ideas.
  • Be the face of Wayd on campus.
Who We're Looking For

We don't need someone with years of experience. We need someone who:

  • Knows a lot of people on campus, ideally across several fraternities, sororities, and student organizations.
  • Has relationships with chapter presidents, social chairs, or club leaders.
  • Enjoys making connections and bringing people together.
  • Takes initiative and follows through.
  • Knows what's happening on campus and what students get excited about.
  • Is curious about startups and wants to learn by doing.
Why This Internship Is Different
  • Be there from the beginning. Ever wondered what it felt like to join Instagram or Snapchat before everyone knew about them? You'll get to experience launching a new social app with a small, ambitious team.
  • Run the launch at your school. You'll make deals, organize events, and see your work turn into people using Wayd across campus.
  • Work directly with our CEO. Bring your ideas, make decisions together, and learn firsthand how a startup gets built.
  • Earn based on your results. This is a paid, performance-based internship with no fixed salary.
  • Turn it into something bigger. Strong performance can lead to a full-time internship or a full-time job offer as Wayd grows, plus a personal reference from our CEO based on your work.
