Job summary

BASIS Cedar Park is seeking a Campus Maintenance Coordinator to ensure our campus facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for students and staff. This hands‑on role keeps buildings running smoothly so teachers can teach and students can excel.

You will work with the Head of Operations, own campus upkeep, coordinate vendors, manage emergency preparedness, and support events with staging and logistics. Requires 2+ years in facilities coordination and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on building maintenance or facilities coordination experience.
• High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Must possess or be able to obtain valid fingerprint clearance and pass state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely repairs and preventative maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facilities.
• Address staff requests for custodial support, room setup, furniture moves, and HVAC adjustments.
• Inspect facilities and grounds to identify and fix issues and maintain a clean campus.
• Serve as liaison for third-party contractors (custodial, HVAC, landscaping, pest control).
• Maintain logs and files for work orders, proposals, safety records, and contracts.
• Assist with campus events with equipment staging and logistics setup.
• Oversee daily traffic flow, carline efficiency, and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain and execute the school’s Emergency Preparedness Program.
