Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to work with trouble report system

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive maintenance and repair of building surfaces, structures, hardware, fixtures
• Initiate work orders and assist with completion of the work
• Replace light bulbs, faucets, and plumbing fixtures; repair minor plumbing leaks
• Perform carpentry, painting, and repairs to doors, fixtures, and ceilings
• Inspect fire extinguishers and replace units as needed; conduct routine building inspections
