Job summary

Georgia Tech's Postal Services is seeking a full-time Mail Clerk to perform mail collection and delivery within the campus post office and larger campus organization. You will interact regularly with customers and co-workers, advising and counseling customers as needed.

Supervisory duties are not listed. Responsibilities include picking up and delivering mail on routes, processing outgoing mail with a digital mailing machine, handling customer inquiries and postage sales, and printing daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma.
• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver mail on assigned routes; operate mail delivery motor vehicle.
• Process outgoing mail including operation of digital mailing machine.
• Provide customer service including responding to inquiries, postage sales and accountability for cash drawer.
• Print postage for letters and packages; prepare daily postage meter report.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
