Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Campus Intern at Emory & Henry College. This role offers hands-on learning across food service, culinary, facilities management, accounting, HR, clerical, marketing, sustainability and operations.

Shifts vary; open availability preferred for a part-time schedule. Responsibilities include supporting daily operations, inventory, event preparation, service and guest relations, with exposure to large-scale food and beverage operations.

• Genuine interest in hospitality, food service, and events.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations by assisting frontline teams in food service, maintenance, cleaning, equipment use, cooking and serving.
• Assist with inventory, data entry, filing and reporting as needed.
• Participate in event preparation, setup and service support.
• Follow department guidelines, procedures and safety standards; provide feedback as needed.
• Attend shifts reliably and maintain physical stamina for long periods.

You belong in a company that allows you to act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What You’ll Do: As a Campus Intern at Sodexo, you will perform and train in various responsibilities under their career concentration, such as food service, culinary, facilities management, accounting, human resources, clerical, marketing, sustainability, premium services, warehouse management, or general operations. This role offers hands-on learning experiences in event preparation, service execution, inventory management, and guest relations, providing exposure to large-scale food and beverage operations. Throughout the internship, the intern will gain valuable insight into Sodexo’s business practices, operational standards, and leadership principles, while contributing to the team’s overall success. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position.
