Job summary

Franklin Pierce University on campus grounds is seeking a Groundskeeper to operate lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other tools. You will assist with seasonal clean-ups and prepare grounds for events and conferences while lifting up to 50 pounds and working with minimal supervision.

Must possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain certification to drive University vehicles. Some weekends, holidays and mandatory days may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform grounds duties including operating power and hand tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-campus grounds work including mowing, trimming, and clean-up.
• Assist with seasonal fall, winter, and spring clean-up tasks.
• Support event and conference setups as needed.
