Job summary

Saint Anselm College is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper/Landscaper to maintain college grounds year-round. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7 am–3:30 pm, with responsibilities across summer and winter seasons.

Reporting to the Grounds Supervisor, the position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of relevant experience, plus a valid driver's license. The team focuses on safe, well-kept grounds in a Benedictine, private liberal arts setting.

Qualifications

• High school education plus 1–2 years of relevant grounds experience.
• Knowledge of maintaining lawns, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, plant, fertilize, water, prune plants, remove weeds and brush.
• Winter duties: snow/ice removal, salting, sanding, and safety clearance of areas.
• Operate a range of grounds equipment and tools.
• Train and supervise seasonal helpers.
